I don't think every gnutella2 application ought to necessarily implement the Gnutella2 Standard for file sharing. Only G2 filesharing applications must implement the Gnutella2 Standard for file sharing. The way it is worded, every G2 application must also be a file sharing app.
Perhaps someone could edit this page to fix this apparent mistake.
